First of all, I ordered both the wrist wrest and mouse pad and both had a very strong chemical odor that took about 3 months or longer to go away. The smell gave me the worst headache I had to keep washing them with soap and water. Not only does it smell toxic, it also ended up splitting at the seams and the gel started oozing out. Not a good buy at all.

using the Gel instead of fabric keeps your wrist from rubbing and slides much easier while typing. good length and lasts for a long time. It's nice & cool & feels good when typing.. keeps your wrists from getting sore. I use it for work on a daily basis.

I have owned this wrist rest and the matching mouse pad for over 10 years now. They are both still intact, no gel spilling out.
I want to buy another set because I've had mine so long, it's not quite the "vivid" purple color anymore, but I'm wondering if the manufacturing quality has gone down over the years, based on reviews from current users...

I have been through many of these and they all keep busting open on the left side where my wrist sets within a couple of months. It's a pretty color purple, which is the only reason I keep replacing them, but I have been forced to go to a different brand.
